Here are a few pictures from the little hike we took this past weekend. We are already thankful about our scooter purchase because it has made little trips like this one possible. This rain forest is located about ten minutes away by scooter, in the little area where Jonathan works on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We plan to go back again and swim in the pools below the falls. When we went it was Australia Day weekend and there were lots of families enjoying it too. I bet it's quieter on a weekday.

I loved the pictures of your hike, and I am pretending in my mind that I can feel the warmth of your weather even though we are under a huge amount of snow here in the Northwest! Hope you have had a great weekend!

oh my gosh! it looks so beautiful there! i'm so jealous! it is SO snowy here. andrew loves the picture of the bird. he was sitting on my lap while i was reading your blog and starting whining everytime i tried to scroll down past the bird...:)
