I really don't know if there is anything I like more than xc skiing. Seriously. I don't know what it is about it. The stillness and quite. The scenery. The exercise (which is undercover, by the way). Maybe it's the feeling of absolute escape...like you're miles and miles away, even when you're not that far from home. Whatever the reason (or all of them, I'm sure), I LOVE xc skiing.
If you haven't tried it, you should.
If you have tried it and don't like it, I'm not sure we can be friends.
If you ever want to go with me, just give me a call and I will undoubtedly agree to join you.

Oh my word! BEAUTIFUL pictures--- my gosh! Where were you guys?? I haven't been xc skiing before --- well, not "officially." Just tried on a pair of my friends' relatives when we were staying at their cabin as 8 year olds and pretended to ski around the backyard. Not quite the same thing. ;) Ken & I need to try this. Maybe all four of us can go up some time this winter? That's such a great pic of you & Jonathan together too --- you guys are seriously such a ridiculously gorgeous couple. We love you tons & were so glad you could come today. BTW, Jonathan took AWESOME photos of Jack blowing out the candles! Thank you guys for everything-- we love you!!
I want to know how you fit in your snow pants! When I was pregnant last winter I couldn't wear mine so I didn't do anything in the snow! We should go sometime. My parents have gear we could borrow. We've never gone before, but Phil is an avid downhiller.

I haven't been xc skiing in so long. We downhill but would love to switch it up now and then. I get so darn cold on the chairlift...it makes me not want to go!
And by the way, you are a super cute pregnant mama! You carry that baby well!
